Flute Info

What is a Box Flute?

Our flutes are a mash up of the Ocarina and Native American Flute. They have the size of an Ocarina and the tuning structure of Native American Flutes. Ideal for anyone who wants a relaxing travel ready flute! They play similarly to Native American Flutes.

How to Play the Box Flute - Basics 101

Start by covering all the finger holes. Gently blow into your flute. You want to hear a clear and steady note. Then begin to lift your fingers off the finger holes starting with the farthest finger hole away from you on the right hand side. Continue up the right hand side and then start on the left with the finger hole farthest away from you. (See Chart) To go back down the scale simply recover the finger holes in descending order.
