"Dragon Song" Comes From Inspirations Developed During This Dulcimer's Construction. Sometimes During A Build, You Become Engrossed, Transported Beyond The Three Dimensional Materials That Are Being Manipulated, Into A Dimension of Something More. The Materials Begin Speaking To You Like Notes That Flow From An Inspired Musician. During Construction I Kept Getting Glimpses Of Dragons Playing In The Mists Emanating From The Beautiful Patterns, Swirls, And Art, That Mother Nature Imbued In These Magical Pieces Of Wood.
The Original Inspiration Was " Dragons In the Mist", Which I Shorted To "Dragon Song"
For The Purpose of Brevity.
The Finished Instrument Certainly Sings Well, Loud & Boisterous As A Dragon, While Embodying A Misty Tranquil yet Playful Voice.
